I am Lionheart, a self-taught artist raised in Fort Worth, Texas.
My love for art started with the study of portraiture nearly a decade ago.
ARTIST STATEMENT
I create art to capture the subtlest of human emotion. It is in our most intimate moments with loss and
love that we learn life's most valuable lessons. Through my art, I hope to portray the hardships that our
hearts endure, while offering a place of sanctuary through these depictions.
EXHIBITION INTRODUCTION
This exhibition is a collection of still-life studies from the past five years. They range from simple pen
and pencil sketches to large-scale acrylic and oil paintings. All have the same objective...to find and
hold a moment in time.
